We've spent the past couple of days here in the capital city. Flooding has made sightseeing a bit difficult, so we've just stuck to eating more oh-so-healthy American food, doing even more shopping, watching Les Miserables that finally made its way across the ocean (which was just as phenomenal as I had heard), and going to a spa for massages. One day left, and Mom leaves on a night flight tomorrow night. We're not thinking about it.

a bit of sightseeing
After spending a week in my city, I thought Mom might enjoy seeing a bit more of the country, so we went to the city I visited with some friends this past summer. We visited a massive Buddhist temple, ate some Western food, and did a lot of shopping. There are no photos of our shopping bags because, honestly, it's a bit embarrassing.
